We are very happy to announce we have successfully tendered and required a new bus route for our students. Listening to feedback from parents and students we feel this additional bus is a much-needed resource for Team Tanfield.
 
Parents can view all of our School Transport bus routes and apply for their child’s concessionary place for September 2022 by visiting the Durham County Council website, all relevant information can be found on our school bus service page.
 
Please ensure to add the location your child will be getting the bus from onto your application. We are aware that the Durham County Council website DOES NOT show our new route, please be assured the new route is going ahead.
 
Due to the large increases in fuel prices we have reviewed our prices for September 2022, understandably we do not wish to put financial pressures on our families therefore we have added only a small increase, with our daily rate rising to £1.50 per day.
