Friday 8th July 2016

All new Year 9 students will be off timetable for the day to explore all issues regarding diversity and their role as 21st century citizens. The aim of the day is to explore the origins and consequences of prejudice and discrimination: we have tried to focus on the needs of the students and look at key stereotypes to challenge: sexism, racism, lookism, prejudice against disability and homophobia.

The aim is have a fun and educational day that will help students develop their self-confidence and a greater appreciation for the diversity in the world around them.
