Key Stage 3

Each student at Key stage 3 is taught a discrete lesson of ICT each week. They will cover a number of creative units of work, linking to the new 'Computing' programme of study. Assessment record grids will be used for each unit to show progression throughout the various years.

Key Stage 4

At Key stage 4 students follow a BTEC in Information Creative Technology. This is a very practical, enjoyable course. The course consists of four units of work and one examination worth 20% of the overall course.

  • Digital Portfolio: showcasing student work
  • Graphics: use of FIREWORKS
  • Animation: use of FLASH
